Faith & Branko, the story
This transcultural documentary narrates the seven-year relationship between musicians Faith and Branko. In 2011, singer Faith traveled from England to Serbia to learn how to play the Gypsy accordion. There she met Romani violinist Branko and, despite language barriers, they fell in love through music. Inspired by their musical chemistry, they married and took their duo to other countries. Although Faith is free-spirited, Branko has no experience in travel and is attached to his family. However, both believe that the other will improve their lives. The relationship is put to the test when they discover their differences and that music may be the only thing they have in common. "Faith and Branko" is an intimate portrait of the dynamics of an intercultural and artistic relationship.
